ASIAN AMERICAN LITERATURE PRESENTATION
For our final meetings we will explore other Asian American texts chosen by each member of the class. Each student will write a five page paper about their work and present the paper to the class. Each presentation will take ten minutes and cover the issues raised in the text concerning Asian American literature.
Process: Choose an Asian American text to present to the class. This may be a novel, play, selection of poems (at least four) or a film. Each student will write a five page paper discussing how the text explores Asian American issues: identity, aesthetics and/or cross cultural traditions. Each student will present their paper to the class in a ten minute discussion of the work.

Out of curiosity, I was wondering, since so many of us use assumed names on the blog how does the professor know who has been posting and who has not been posting. How do you know who is who on the blog and who that blogger is in class? Is their a list with out blog names and our real names somewhere? I know the blog counts toward our grades so I am curious as to how we are being told apart and how you connect our blog names with out real ones in class.
I always wanted to ask but it never came up in class.
When is the latest we can hand in our paper, if we do not have it finished by the time we present our presentation?
As the blog administrator, I have a list of blog names and the corresponding email address' you gave me when the blog was started.
To answer the other question, the papers are all due on the last day of class, December 10th. You may turn your papers in before that if you wish.
